Thanks for visiting House of York! We are a home and lifestyle boutique offering on-trend items for the home, unique gifts and personal accessories. We offer both globally sourced goods as well as locally made items and are attracted to fun and funky textures, warm neutrals with pops of glitz and design pieces that don't just look great, but also offer functionality. We are so excited to share all of these finds with you!

House of York is a lifelong dream of entrepreneurship come true for owner, Lindsey McBride who was born and raised in York, PA and returned after 16 years spent living in other parts of the country. While living in cities like Miami, Philadelphia and Hoboken, NJ (right outside of Manhattan), Lindsey grew passionate about small, boutique style shops and the unique vibe they have. Not to discount her love for chain store, Anthropologie, which has a strong influence on House of York's style. 

We LOVE character! Mixing old with new is one of our greatest passions and therefore you will often find unique, vintage items and antiques mixed throughout the shop. We want to create an atmosphere that makes you feel cozy and comfortable and makes you want to stay awhile. We don't love "perfect" and we want everyone to feel welcome.
